My daughter used to be in a wheelchair, wearing a helmet. She cried and wouldn’t go anywhere. She didn’t speak. She has Aphasia and Apraxia.

We began taking her to Mind Remapping, and we began to have hope for her. Elaine worked with my daughter using color games, number games, animals, and symbols, and she began to learn how to put them together in order. What once took 20 minutes, she can now complete in just 2 minutes.

She sounded out words until she could actually say “green,” “red,” “purple,” and more. She relearns each session and has gained so much confidence. Elaine has worked with her on words, the alphabet, writing her name, counting from 1–10, and today she can add into the hundreds! They work on her speech and her Apraxia, helping the words come out. She knows her animals and the alphabet, and she is learning nouns, adverbs, and how to put a sentence together.

For example, Elaine will say, “Give me a sentence using a brown camel.” My daughter used to say, “camel, walk, water, hump,” but now she says, “I see brown camel drinking water for hump.”

In the 2½ years she has been doing Mind Remapping, she has retired her wheelchair and her helmet. She has three girls she used to call “1,” “2,” and “3” because she couldn’t say their names. Now she says, “REDACTED, get laundry from dryer. REDACTED, come here. REDACTED, pick up toys.”

She can now shop online. She is paralyzed on her right side, yet she has learned to use her left hand to do laundry and complete small tasks.

She is currently learning the Presidents, numbers, and the months of the year.

From what we have experienced, Mind Remapping has brought my daughter from a blank state to becoming a blooming flower. She has hope that, 2½ years ago, she had none. If Mind Remapping hadn’t been there with Elaine, her depression may have taken over, and she’d still be speechless in a wheelchair.

Mind Remapping is amazing.
